Emilie Grace Lavoie is an artist, curator, and member of the 3E collective, originally from Edmundston, N.B., the traditional, unceded territory of the Wolastoqiyik people. 

 

Lavoie holds an associate degree in fashion design from LaSalle College (2011), a bachelor’s degree in visual arts from the University of Moncton (2016), and a Master of Fine Arts from Emily Carr University of Art and Design (2018).

 

In 2017, Emilie Grace won the silver medal at the 8th Francophonie Games in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in the Sculpture and Installation category, representing Canada-New Brunswick. In 2024, she was invited by the French Embassy in Canada to participate in the Refaire le Monde Festival as part of the 19th Francophonie Summit in Paris.

 

Her works have been exhibited in Canada and internationally and are part of the permanent collection of the Beaverbrook Art Museum and the New Brunswick Art Bank.

FAVA

Depuis sa première édition, le Festival des arts visuels en Atlantique s’applique à garder vibrant les liens établis entre les artistes et le grand public, car ces liens contribuent à dynamiser le tissu social de nos communautés.

Au fil du temps, le FAVA est donc devenu une occasion de rencontres et d’interactions créatives, tant pour le grand public que pour les artistes d’ici et d’ailleurs.
