Dans le cadre de sa 29e édition, le FAVA présente l’exposition interactive Irréductibles racines au Musées des cultures fondatrices à Grande-Anse; initiée en 2004 et présentée une première fois lors du Congrès mondial acadien de 2009. L’exposition sera en montre pour toute la saison estivale.

L’exposition Irréductibles racines met en valeur cinquante artistes (25 artistes des Premières Nations et 25 artistes acadiens jumelés pour ce projet) qui ont été invités à créer une œuvre sur le thème de la toponymie d’origine mi’kmaq et malécite d’une communauté et d’un lieu ciblé du Nouveau-Brunswick.

 

As part of its 29th edition, the FAVA is presenting the interactive exhibition Irréductibles racines at the Musées des cultures fondatrices in Grande-Anse; it was initiated in 2004 and first presented at the Congrès mondial acadien in 2009. The exhibition will be on display throughout the summer season.

The exhibition Irréductibles racines features fifty artists (25 First Nations artists and 25 Acadian artists paired for this project) who were invited to create a work on the theme of Mi'kmaq and Maliseet toponymy of a specific community and location in New Brunswick.
