Alina Karmadanova is a painter born in Siberia, Russia. She holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture and design. From 2018 to 2023, she lived and worked in Shanghai, China. She earned a master’s degree in illustration from Falmouth University (United Kingdom) in 2024, followed by a certificate in advanced artistic practice from the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design. In 2025, she received a grant from ArtsNB to support her artistic projects in New Brunswick. Over the past six years, her work has been exhibited in Russia, China, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada.
