DANIEL ROBICHAUD
EDMUNDSTON, NB.

I live in Edmundston, Canada, and am a native of the Acadian Peninsula; my passion for painting and drawing took root in my childhood. Although my studies were focused on the sciences rather than an artistic career, I decided in 2021 to reconnect with this passion.
For over two years, I took painting classes with the respected artist Louise Giroux, who encouraged me to share my art. Inspired herself by great names such as Claude Picard, Vicky Lenz, Clarence Bourgoin, Marc Grand-Bois, and Maggie Rose, her guidance helped me grow. I also took sessions with Vicky Lenz and Marc Grand-Bois afterward.
Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to exhibit in several venues, including the “ Rendez-vous des Artistes” in St-Léonard, the Botanical Garden, the Maillet Centre in St-Basile, Galerie Colline in New Brunswick, and La P’tite Église at the Maison de la Culture in Shippagan, the Coloris d’automne symposium in Edmundston, and FAVA in Caraquet.
I am particularly proud to be part of the Plein Air au Jardin group, founded by prominent artists such as Vicki Lenz, Margaret Walsh, and Louise Giroux. This environment offers a dynamic community of artists and an ideal setting for outdoor creation.
As a member of Mondial Art Academia, my work has been exhibited in several countries.
