Born in Moncton, N.B., Natalie Légère received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the Université de Moncton in 2008. Her recent solo exhibitions include: *The Owls of Turtle Island*, Centre des Arts de Saint-Jean, Saint John, N.B.; *Rapaces*, Galerie Marie-Hélène Allain, Bouctouche, N.B.; Recent Drawings, Galerie 12, Moncton, N.B. Her works are included in the New Brunswick Collection and several private collections. She participates in numerous group exhibitions, festivals, and plein air events, artist residencies, and teaches classes to students of all ages. In 2020, Légère’s work took a significant turn: after several years of abstract painting, she incorporated figurative elements, painting owls and landscapes, and began working in oil rather than acrylic. She sought out several mentors, including Dustin Neece, a former apprentice of Odd Nerdrum. Légère is an active member of several regional and international professional artists’ associations and lives on the Woodstock First Nation in New Brunswick with her small family. She is preparing for her next exhibition, *Field Notes / Notes du Terrain*, at Galerie 12 in Moncton in August 2026.

FAVA
