JULIE HACHÉ
CARAQUET, NB.
Julie Haché is a self-taught artist who has been living with a disability since 2012. After the amputation of an arm, painting was a hobby that quickly became a true passion.
Attracted by art and color, she draws her inspiration mainly from nature and horses, which have been an integral part of her life since she was very young. She also enjoys painting portraits and is fascinated by the different facial features that are unique to each individual.
She paints mainly in acrylic and also explores different media.
She exhibited her work for the very first time last year at FAVA, in the emerging space. Her work was then exhibited for several weeks in the window of the Coin des Artistes on Place St-Pierre in Caraquet.
She also creates unique, colorful acrylic greeting cards, which have been on display since 2022 at Hamster 2M in Caraquet, New Brunswick.
